was listeing to Aruna Sairam's rendition of 'Aadaadu asangaadu vaa kanna' (pardon my tinglish)..at one point I was in tears..taken to a different world ...deep into my heart. This lady sure rocks!! Hope to see hear her sing in person some day.

'Aadaathu asangaathu' is one of my all time favorite songs! I have a Maharajapuram Santhanam CD which has this song. I just love the lyrics. Like you said it makes us melt.

Another which makes me melt (as I pretty much listen to it on my CD everyday) is M.S's Kurai Ondrum Illai...
mnamma: my mom is a big fan of Maharajapuram Santhanam. I used to listen to him live when I was little....he had a special aura about himself...
